This is a neat, non-slouchy, star-patterned beret, which is knit in the round from the top down.

Can be knit with any weight/tension of yarn: sizing instructions are given. This pattern works particularly well with variegated yarn, which will display the star pattern better.

Double pointed or circular knitting needles will be needed. The beret pictured was knit using 4ply yarn and 3mm double pointed needles.

Four sizes included, from small child to large adult.
